A student platform built on service, not politics.
We are students who believe leadership is learned by doing — by teaching a classmate, organising a clean-up, or building something the community needs. The Peacemakers of Puducherry Council (POPC) gives that instinct a home.
Grow principled leaders who make their community stronger.
The council was founded in 2026 with a small group of students in Puducherry who wanted more than a résumé line. They wanted to practise leadership in public — accountable to real people and real outcomes.
Every program is strictly non-partisan: we take no position on parties, candidates, or campaigns. Our work is people and skills, never power.
Today the Peacemakers of Puducherry Council is the largest student organisation in Puducherry, India — spanning 17 institutions with 112 registered members, backed by government, the public and the student community, and supported by partner associations across the region.
Values we hold ourselves to.
Non-partisan by charter
We do not endorse parties, candidates, or campaigns. Our focus is people and skills, not power.
Students first
Every program is designed to grow a student's confidence, capability, and character.
Service as practice
Leadership is proven in service to others, measured by contribution rather than title.
